MASHAD

The holy city of Mashad is located in the northeast of Iran, in the great province of Khorasan. The rug manufacturing is extensive and mostly large rugs with medallions in the centre are made in this area, which are also sold under the name Mashad. The quality and the wool from Khorasan is recognized by its softness.
